AICC General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi on Friday called for strengthening Lokpal Bill by making it a Constitutional body like the Election Commission. Rahul thanked, Anna Hazare saying Anna has helped articulate public sentiment against corruption. Making a statement in the Loksabha he said that corruption can't be wished away, as it will require a comprehensive programme of action. He said, he had serious doubts about the perception that the enactment of a single bill will eradicate corruption. He said, Lokpal alone cannot be a substitute to anti-corruption code and a set of laws is required covering various fields.
