Rahul Gandhi calls Deputy CM of Punjab, symbol of corruption

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today called Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab, Sukhbir Singh Badal a symbol of corruption and asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to clear the air on why he was seeking votes for the corrupt if he was fighting against the menace. Mr Rahul Gandhi was addressing a poll rally in Jalalabad, from where the SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal is seeking re-election. <br/><br/>Mr Gandhi alleged that the ruling Badals had plundered Punjab for their own interests. He also charged that the youth in Punjab is unemployed, while the industry is in shambles. Attacking Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party, Mr Rahul Gandhi said, the Delhi CM had promised to voters that he would transform Delhi if his party came to power there, but now various sections were up against them for befooling the people.
