Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today urged Narendra Modi to stop, what he called, “fooling” the people of the country.
At an election rally at Kisanganj in Bihar, Rahul asserted that the “toffee ” model of development in Gujarat is nothing but a loot of public money.
He cited many instances to expose the Gujarat model of development and blamed BJP for selling the idea across the country with the aim of making Modi the next Prime Minister. Rahul said contrary to the rosy picture of Gujarat painted by BJP, a whopping 40 lakh people in that state were below the poverty line and earned less than 11 rupees per day. Rahul Gandhi also contended that one model of development cannot be applicable everywhere.
