AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi arrived in Mumbai today. According to the Mumbai Regional Congress Committee (MRCC), Mr. Gandhi will interact with students at the Bhaidas Auditorium in suburban Vile Parle area. Rahul is visiting Mumbai at a time when a war of words is going on between the Shiv Sena and Mr. Gandhi on the issue of "Mumbai belongs to all Indians".<br/><br/>Mumbai police have made tight security arrangements following threat of Shiv Sena that Sena activists will greet Mr. Gandhi with black flags wherever he goes in the city. CCTVs have been installed along the entire route from Juhu helipad to Vile Parle’s Bhaidas Hall. Similar fool-proof security measures are also being planned at Ghatkopar’s Ramabai Nagar.<br/><br/>AIR Mumbai correspondent reports, the police have detained some Sena activists, who were protesting against Rahul Gandhi, near Bhaidas Auditorium. Mr. Gandhi will visit Ghatkopar, the north-eastern part of Mumbai where the Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar slums are located.<br/><br/>He is also expected to garland a statue of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Ambedkar there and then interact with select slum youth.
