Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has alleged that the Trinamul Congress led Government in West Bengal has failed to carry out welfare programmes for the poor.
Addressing a public rally at Nagrakata in Jalpaiguri District of West Bengal today, he alleged that central funds are reaching the State but these are not reaching the people.

He said the Trinamul Congress Government is following the same path as by the previous Left Front. He said West Bengal is lagging behind in education and infrastructure sectors like roads, drinking water and electricity.

Mr. Gandhi called for a change to expidite development works in the State and to make a strong Government at the center.
