Rahul Gandhi accuses PM Modi, Mamata Banerjee of resorting to falsehood

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Saturday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of resorting to falsehood and bluffing the people. <br/><br/>Addressing an election meeting at Shyampur in West Bengal, he said they promised lakhs of jobs but not a single person got employment. Mr Gandhi attacked Mamata government over corruption issue and said no action was taken against those involved in Saradha and Narada scam.<br/><br/>Referring to the recent flyover collapse in Kolkata which claimed several lives, Mr Gandhi alleged that the TMC government had given contract of supplying material to its partyman who had supplied substandard materials. <br/><br/>He said if the Congress-CPI(M) alliance government is formed, its first task would be to provide employment, stop syndicate and corruption and take action against those involved in Saradha and Narada scam. CPI(M) central committee member Dipak Dasgupta was present with Mr Gandhi at the meeting.
