Congress Vice president Rahul Gandhi says his party will give priority to women reservation in Parliament and Assembly if it comes to power again.

Addressing a rally at Subansiri stadium, Hapoli in Lower Subansiri district in Arunachal Pradesh today, he said the Congress led Government at the Centre and party's government in Arunachal have devolved power to the Panchayati Raj bodies with proper women representation.

Appreciating the achievements of Congress led Government in Arunachal Pradesh, he said development of helipads in various locations and the railway project are in full swing to improve connectivity in the state.

Rahul Gandhi said the Congress party will give priority to the development of horticulture, tourism and hydropower sector in the state.

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki, Member of Parliament Takam Sanjoy and Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Mukut Mithi were present on the occasion.
