Raghuvar Das to take oath as Jharkhand Chief Minister tomorrow

Senior BJP leader Raghuwar Das will take over as Chief Minister of Jharkhand tomorrow.

Governor Sayyed Ahmed will administer him oath of office and secrecy at the Morhabadi ground in Ranchi at 11 AM. Mr. Das along with AJSU President Sudesh Mahto, senior BJP leader Arjun Munda and Trivendra Singh Rawat met the Governor on Friday and staked claim to form a new government in the state.

Speaking to media, Mr Rawat said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend the swearing-in ceremony.

AIR correspondent reports, the tone of new administration is set with the announcement of new Chief Minister Raghuwar Das as state Chief Secretary has issued order that all government offices would remain open today and tomorrow in view of the oath taking of CM elect.

Meanwhile CM elect Raghuwar Das is going to New Delhi for consultation on finalizing the names of Cabinet which can have a maximum of 12 Ministers, including the Chief Minister. He will return back by today evening.

On the other hand identity and vote bank politics has begun in the state, as few organization have given bandh call today for electing a non-tribal Chief Minister.
