Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has said that Rafael deal was a transaction between two governments. <br/><br/>In context of the allegation made by the Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi over the Rafael deal, Mr Jaitley on Saturday told media persons in Ahmedabad that this deal was a transaction to strengthen the combat power of the Indian Air Force. <br/><br/>He also said that the earlier UPA government did not take any decision regarding this during their term. He questioned the purpose and relevance of raising this issue by Congress during the poll campaign with the fact that the deal took place long back ago. Rahul Gandhi made an allegation in a public rally in Gandhinagar about the procurement and procedure of Rafale deal issue.<br/><br/>Mr. Jaitley also rejected the allegation of Congress Vice President about waiving off 1 lakh 35 thousand crore rupees for industrialists, and said that not a single penny has been waived off by the Government. He further said that Congress has created social divide and on that basis they are doing politics. <br/><br/>He said that the way congress is contesting elections by carrying different forces with them, they are creating anarchy in the state.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that, talking to media in Ahmedabad at BJP media centre, Mr Jaitley said that that this deal was a transaction to strengthen the combat power of the Indian Air Force.
