Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore has said that in next one year 100 radio stations will be opened in different parts of the country. While inaugurating the FM center in Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand, Col. Rathore said that priority will be given to the border districts in opening these FM centres.<br/><br/>The five kilowatt FM centres will facilitate the people living within the proximity of 30 kilometres. FM centres could be listened on 101.5 MHz from 5:15 AM in the morning till 11 PM at night. Sh Rathore said that, by 2017 Almora and Champawat will have their own FM towers. Sh Rathore also stated that the target of the government is to open 3 FM centres for the population of one lack.
