Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh has criticised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for failing to utilise the Central funds allotted for various agriculture schemes. <br/><br/>In a statement, Mr Singh alleged that Bihar government is not implementing the schemes sanctioned by the Centre for the welfare of farmers and growth of the agriculture sector in the State. He said, the funds provided to the States under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayi Yojana and Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana were not properly utilised. <br/><br/>The Agriculture Minister said, the funds allotted to the State under National Food Security Mission for providing high yielding seeds were also underutilised. He asked Bihar Chief Minister if he is really concerned about farmers' welfare, he should show commitment towards implementation of Central schemes.
