Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday expressed anguish over the race for power and pelf which, she said, after a certain limit translates into mere pursuit of greed.Speaking at a function to release a stamp in the memory of freedom fighter Chaudhary Ranbir Singh, Mrs Gandhi said the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters should not be forgotten.Communications and Information Technology minister Kapil Sibal released the postal stamp in honour of late Ranbir Singh, a member of the India's Constituent Assembly. Mr Sibal presented the first stamp to Congress President Mrs Sonia Gandhi. The function was attended by Singh's son and Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and minister of State for Communications Sachin Pilot. Ranbir Singh, a freedom fighter from Haryana, was jailed several times during the freedom movement.
