Former Petroleum Secretary, Mr. R.S Pandey has been appointed as the interlocutor for the talks with the Naga militant group NSCN(IM). As reported, last week the govenment had invited the leadership of the NSCN(IM) for talks in April in India to carry forward the peace process . Mr Pandey will be facilitating the talks for an early solution to the long drawn Naga problem .<br/><br/>The NSCN((IM)chairman Isak Chishi Swu and general secretary Thuingaleng Muivah, who are currently based abroad, are expected to participate in the dialogue process. <br/><br/>The last round of peace talks between the centre and NSCN(I-M) were held in March last year.
