Mr R K Bhatia is the new chief of Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). He is a 1974-batch IPS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. Mr Bhatia today took the charge of the 50,000-personnel strong ITBP from outgoing Director General Vikram Srivastava who has been moved as the new CRPF chief. ITBP guards the 3,488 kilometre Sino-Indian border.<br/>
