Twenty three tableaus showcasing the rich cultural heritage and development of the country will be part of this year's Republic Day Parade. More than 450 artists and designers living in the special artist village have created these tableaus. While tableaus of 13 states will represent the diverse values and traditions of people, 10 tableaus of various Ministries and Departments will showcase the working of their departments. AIR correspondent reports, besides the national capital showcasing its tableau at the Parade after a gap of three years, another highlight this time will be two tableaus paying tributes to Rabindranath Tagore.
