The Kochi leg of the Queen's Baton Relay concluded at the Regional Sports Centre at Kadavanthara on Sunday evening. The Relay evoked spontaneous response from the holiday crowd, who gathered in large numbers to cheer the baton bearers at various spots in the city. People belonging to different walks of life turned up in large numbers to welcome the baton relay carried by eminent sports personalities. At several places, they waved the Commonwealth Games flag.Earlier in the day, the relay touched important heritage spots in Kochi. The Queen's Baton Relay will start for Kozhikode, on Monday morning.
