The Queen's Baton of Commonwealth Games 2010 today left Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram for Kolkata by an Air India flight after a day's stay in the state.The Queen's Baton, which arrived in the city yesterday from Kolkata, was accorded a warm welcome by the people of the state who came out in large numbers to watch the relay around the Aizawl city.Sports personalities, former sports ministers, army and civilian officials took out a procession in honour of the baton and a function was held at Vanapa Hall e which was addressed by Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla, who is also president of the Mizoram Olympic Association.
