The Queens baton for the Common Wealth Games has reached Mumbai. The baton came from Pune to Mumbai via the sea route. Rear admiral Rahul Sherawat received the baton at the naval dockyard in a grand ceremony. The baton will now be taken to INS VIRAT. It will be later welcomed at the Gateway of India this afternoon by Maharshtra Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Chavan. Cultural programmes will be held in honour of the baton relay. The baton will further travel via Madam Cama Road, Nariman Point towards Mumbai University.
