In Meghalaya, an earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale shocked Shillong. The tremor was felt for seconds at 8.44 a.m. with the epicentre located 60 km from the Regional Seismological Centre in Upper Shillong, the official said. There was no report of any damage or casualty.
