<br/>A strong 6.0 magnitude earth quake jolted Andaman and Nicobar islands at 4.39 hours this morning. It was epicentered 24 kilometres from Diglipur, the northern most tip of Andaman islands. Our correspondent reports that the early morning quake caused damages in the entire North and Middle Andaman with many buildings and roads developing cracks. The people panicked and rushed out of their houses soon after the strong tremors. The panicky situation still continues in Diglipur and nearby islands. However, there was no report of loss of life or injury from any part of these islands.<br/>According to US Geological survey, the quake occurred at the depth of 27.2 kilometres in the mid sea.<br/>
