An undersea earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale jolted Sumatra islands of Indonesia early Tuesday morning. The quake struck at 3.12 am, Jakarta time, with its epicenter 140 kilometers south-west of Krui town in Lampung Province. It hit at a depth of 10 kilometers under the sea bed. The quake was also felt in Krui town and the nearby Bengkulu Province. No Tsunami warning has been issued so far and there are no immediate reports of any damage or casualties.
