Qatar denies reports of wrongdoing in award of Soccer WC hosting rights<br/>

Qatar has denied any wrongdoings in award of hosting rights for 2022 Soccer World cup. In a statement, the 2022 World Cup organizing committee said it was unaware of any alleged payments by former head of the country&apos;s soccer association Bin Hammam to an ex-vice president of FIFA. The denial comes after the report in the Britain&apos;s Daily Telegraph newspaper that a company under the control of Mohamed Bin Hammam paid 1.2 million dollar to Jack Warner, the former president of North American soccer&apos;s governing body.
