Olympic silver-medallist P V Sindhu will take on world champion Nozomi Okuhara of Japan in the final of the Korea Open Super Series badminton tournament in Seoul today. There is a little chance of another energy sapping long final today as both the shuttlers hardly got any time to recover after the Worlds and Okuhara made it clear that she is not sure of her physical condition. Okuhara has a chance to win her third straight title after winning the Australian Open and the World Championships.Sindhu has won three and lost matches against Okuhara. Rather than engaging her in long rallies Sindhu may resort to an aggressive approach against Okuhara in the final. World No.4 Sindhu, who had won the China Super Series Premier last year and clinched the India Super Series and Syed Modi Grand Prix Gold this season, now stands just one win away from another title.Earlier, in the semi-final at Seoul yesterday, Sindhu defeated World No. 7 He Bingjiao of China, 21-10, 17-21, 21-16 in a match that lasted an hour and six minutes. In the other semi-final, Olympic bronze-medallist Okuhara overcame her World No.2 Japanese compatriot Akane Yamaguchi in straight games 21-17 21-18.
