Rio Olympics Silver medalist PV Sindhu today stormed into the quarterfinals of the Badminton Asia Championships at Wuhan in China. Sindhu, who is seeded fourth in the tournament, defeated unseeded Japanese Aya Ohori in straight games, 21-14, 21-15. For a place in the semi-finals, Sindhu will play eighth placed Bingjiao He of China tomorrow.Saina Nehwal had bowed out of the tournament in the opening round yesterday.In the Men's Singles, Ajay Jayaram today crashed out after losing in the pre-quarterfinals.Sindhu is now the only Indian left in the Championship.
