Ace shuttler PV Sindhu, the first Indian woman to win an Olympic Silver medal, arrived at the Shamshabad airport, in Hyderabad this morning, along with her coach Pullela Gopichand. State Information and Technology Minister Taraka Ramarao led a large contingent of Ministers, officials and school children in welcoming the top shuttler. The whole state of Telangana has geared up to give the Olympian a grand civil reception. <br/><br/>Sindhu is being taken in a procession to Gachibowli stadium in an open-top bus named Nilambary where Telangana Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao will be felicitating her. En route, the star shuttler is being welcomed by school children at various points. Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has installed huge welcome hoardings along the procession route. Later in the day, Sindhu will reach Pullela Gopichand Academy, where she will meet her co-trainees of the academy. Apart from the congratulatory messages, it has also been raining rewards on Sindhu.
