In Badminton, PV Sindhu today stormed into the quarterfinals of the China Open at Changzhou. In her Round-of-16 match, Sindhu, seeded third, came back from a game behind to beat Busanan Ongbamrungphan of Thailand, 21-23, 21-13, 21-18. 

Saina Nehwal had bowed out in the opening round. Seventh seed Kidambi Srikanth will face Thai Suppanyu Avihingsanon in the pre-quarterfinals later today.
