Olympics and World Championships Silver medalist PV Sindhu has entered the title clash of the India Open Badminton tournament at New Delhi. In the semi-finals, last night, the top seed and defending champion defeated the third-placed Thai, Ratchanok Intanon in straight games, 21-13, 21-15. In the Final to be played today, Sindhu will take on fifth-seeded American Beiwen Zhang. It will be the fifth meeting between Sindhu and Zhang. Sindhu currently leads the head-to-head record, 3-1.
