Olympic silver-medallist P V Sindhu made a positive start to her campaign at Dubai Super Series Final. Sindhu defeated China's He Bingjiao, 21-11,16-21, 21-18 in a Group A match of Women's Singles. However, Kidambi Srikanth suffered a 13-21,17-21 loss to defending champion Viktor Axelsen in a Group B Men's singles match. Sindhu will face Japan's Sayaka Sato in the next encounter, while Srikanth will take on Chinese Taipei's Chou Tien Chen tomorrow. There are eight players in each category, who have been divided into two groups in this tournament.
