India's PV Sindhu and Anand Pawar will play their semi-final matches of the India Open Super Series Badminton tournament in New Delhi today. In the Women's Singles semi-final, PV Sindhu will clash with third seed Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand, while in the Men's Singles, Anand Pawar will take on Japan's sixth seed, Kenichi Tago.Sindhu and Jayaram are the two Indians left in the tournament. London Olympics Bronze medalist and top seed Saina Nehwal had made a shock exit from the tournament, after she lost to unseeded Yui Hashimoto of Japan, 21-13, 12-21, 20-22 in the pre-quarterfinals. Another top Indian shuttler, London Olympics quarterfinalist, P. Kashyap had crashed out of the tournament, after losing to Taufik Hidayat of Indonesia in the opening round.
