Odisha Sports Minister Sudam Marandi on Saturday announced a cash reward of 3 lakh rupees to Purnima Hembram for winning the bronze medal in the women's Heptathlon event in the Asian Athletics Championship at Wuhan in China. It was Purnima's first ever senior international medal. The Odisha Olympic Association honorary secretary Asirbad Behera has also announced a cash reward of 25, 000 rupees for her.
