Punjab:Cong's Amrinder wins Patiala,SAD Prakash Singh Badal leading

In Punjab, Congress leader and former Chief Minister Capt. Amrinder Singh has won from Patiala(Urban) constituency while Jeet Mohinder Sidhu of Congress has won from Talwandi Sabo. Hardial Singh also of Congress beat BJP's Raj Khurana by a margin of 31,510 votes from Rajpura.

Ruling Shiromani Akali Dal, SAD's, Nand Lal defeated Shiv Ram Singh of the BSP by a margin of 14,857 votes from Balachaur constituency. Manpreet Kaur Mukhwellpur of SAD won from Ghanaur and Harmeet Singh Sandhu also of SAD won from Tarn Taran. PPP President Manpreet Singh Badal lost from Maur constituency.

Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal is leading from Lambi Constituency while Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal is leading from Jalalabad. Congress leader Rajinder Kaur Bhattal from Lehra Gaga constituency.
