After the Model Code of Conduct came into force in the state for Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections, various enforcement teams have seized valuables worth  82 crores 62 lakh rupees  in violation of code till January 26, 2022.<br />'' <br />''Giving details, Punjab Chief Electoral Officer (CEO)Dr S Karuna Raju today said that the surveillance teams have seized 16.10 lakh litres of liquor worth  7 crore 2 lakh rupees.
