Similarly, Fatehgarh Sahib district has received 310 percent more rainfall and Kapurthala district has received 269 percent more rainfall than normal. Amritsar, Ludhiana, Ferozepur, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and Patiala are the districts where the rainfall has been double than the normal during the same period. Ropar, Mohali, TaranTaran, Pathankot, Barnala and Hoshiarpur recorded rainfall below normal by about 61 percent while Mansa, Muktsar, Faridkot, Fazilka and Bathinda districts remained almost dry during the same period.&nbsp;</span><br />
