In Punjab, the PHD Chamber of Commerce is organising a five-day Indo-Pak International Trade Expo, IPEX-13, from tomorrow in Jalandhar, to promote bilateral trade among the two neighbouring countries.Regional Director, PHD Chamber, Dalip Sharma and Khursheed Barlas from The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in a joint press conference in Jalandhar said that over 150 exhibitors from Pakistan would put up 40 stalls consisting of Pakistani food, textiles, leather, Kabuli dry fruits, home appliances crockery, furniture etc. The Pakistani folk singers would also entertain the visitors with their sufiana kalams.Khursheed said that bilateral trade between the two countries has increased by 66 per cent, as compared to last year. He said that both Rawalpindi Chamber and PHD Chamber are in consultation to organsie such expos in UK and Mauritious also in future. He invited the PHD chamber to organize an expo in Islamabad in September this year.
