Taking initiative to help the NRIs having some problem back home in Punjab, the NRI wing of the Punjab Police has launched a webpage through which troubled person can directly speak with the Inspector General of NRI Affairs or with any other officer of the Wing through the video conferencing facility or lodge a complaint. The IG, NRI Affairs, Punjab, Gurpreet Deo told AIR that the facility will not only benefit NRIs facing property related problems in Punjab but will prove boon for deserted wives also.
