<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">In Punjab, a Moga Court today convicted three Dera Sacha Sauda followers Pirthi Singh, Mithu Singh and Amandeep Singh in the 2015 sacrilege case while acquitted two others.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Two others have been acquitted. Additional Civil Judge  Rahul Garg awarded the convicts three years of imprisonment under section 295-A and another three years under 120-B of IPC. Both punishments will run concurrently. The court  also pronounced the punishment of a fine of 5000 rupees to each convict.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">The incident happened on November 4, 2015, when the torn pages of holy Shri Guru Granth Sahib were found strewn in the streets of Malke in Moga district. An FIR was registered at Smalsar police station. Later, the Special Investigation Team headed by DIG Ranbir Singh Khatra investigated the case and claimed to have solved the case with the arrests of five Dera followers.</span></p>
