In Punjab, 5 thousand one hundred 36 new Covid 19 positive cases were reported yesterday. The maximum seven hundred 65 positive cases were reported from SAS Nagar district followed by 6 hundred 38 from Ludhiana district.<br />'' <br />'' The 22 Covid19 deaths also reported on the day and 7 thousand 2 hundred 38  Covid19 patients recovered and were discharged on the day. There are 40 thousand 319 active Covid patients in the state now.<br />'' <br />'' The Health Department said, 2 lakh 78 thousand 385 people were vaccinated with first and second dose on the day.<br />'' <br />''Out of them one lakh 23 thousand 373 people were administered first dose while 1 lakh 55 thousand nine administered second dose of corona vaccine. Among them there were 24 thousand 49 children in the age group of 15-17 years who got their first dose on the day.
