Punjab and Haryana reeled under a cold wave with night temperatures ranging upto 2 degrees Celsius below normal at some places in the region. Hisar was the coldest place in the region with night temperature diping to 4.8 degree Celsius, two notches below normal. The met office has forecast a further dip in night as well as day temperatures during the next 48 hours.
