In Punjab, hailstorm has badly damaged the standing rabbi crops and fodder at many places during last two days. In Sangrur district crops in two thousand acres have been reported damaged. District administration has asked the revenue department officials to assess the damage so that a case may be prepared for compensation. Damage has also been reported to the crops from pockets of Fatehgarh Sahib, Ludhiana ,Ropar and Jalandhar districts.
