Punjab Government is making all out efforts for implementing the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act-2005 to provide protection to women who are victim of family violence.<br/><br/>Worshops are being organised at district levels to create awareness in this regard.<br/><br/>The Director of Social Security department while speaking to Our Jalandhar Correspondent has said that this is being done to facilitate a networking amongst various govt. <br/><br/>Agencies with the sole objective of the effective implementation of the Act. Two such workshops were organised today at Faridkot and Ludhiana in which Muktsar and Moga have also been covered.<br/>
