In Punjab, government agencies and private millers procured about 117 lakh 47 thousand tonnes of Paddy till last evening. Out of total procurement in all the 1700 procurement centers of Punjab , Government agencies procured 115 lakh 82 thousand tonnes which is more than 98 percent of the total arrival.The Central Government agency FCI had been able to procure 4,68,000 tonnes. District Ludhiana is leading in the procurement.
