Punjab Government has set up a a corpus fund of 20 crore rupees to help cancer patients. State Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal said such patients will get one and half lakh rupees financial assistance from the state government for treatment. He said that government will also provide similar type of assistance to the patients of other critical ailments. Badal said that the installation of RO System along with the water works in all the villages will be completed by the year 2014.
