Punjab Government has decided not to charge VAT on recently increased amount of Diesel and LPG. Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal has taken this decision in Chandigarh. Spokesman of Punjab Government said that with this decision diesel will be cheaper by 25 paise per liter and LPG by two rupees fifty paise per cylinder in the state. The spokesman said with this relief annual loss to Punjab exchequer will be 75 crore rupees.
