The Punjab government has announced a new policy for development of parking areas. Under the scheme people will be allowed to use their plots as commercial parking place without any extra payment for commercial use of the property.<br/><br/>Punjab Local Bodies Minister Manoranjan Kalia disclosed this to reporters in Jalllandhar on. He said that this decision has been taken to decongest city roads in view of a sharp rise in the number of vehicles in the state.
