Governor of Punjab, Banwari Lal Purohit has stressed on character building at school level and to provide equal opportunities to all students. He was addressing concluding session of three day National Conference on Recent Advances in School Education (RASE -2023) organized by Sarvhitkari Educational Society in association with Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar today. Congratulating for the success of this grand event "Shiksha Mahakumbh" he said that the students should be taught value of simple life and intellectual thinking. Governor Purohit said that there is a need to change the focus from Job seeker mindset to Job provider mindset.<br />''  <br />'' Earlier the morning session commenced with the theme of integration of higher educational institutions with schools. The session focused on touching the spirits of students so that they can understand the real purpose of study.<br />''  <br />''Director of NIT Prof. Binod Kanaujia handed over the Shiksha Mahakumbh and Shiksha Kumbh Batons to Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director, IIT Ropar and Prof. Renu Vig, representative of Vice Chancellor, Panjab University respectively.
