Punjab Governor and Administrator of Union Territory Chandigarh Banwari Lal Purohit has resigned from both posts. He has sent his resignation to President Droupadi Murmu and requested her to accept it. He has mentioned that he is resigning due to personal reasons and certain other commitments.<br />
