<span style="color: #222222;">Four children died and eight others were injured in Punjab when a private school's van caught fire in Longowal town of Sangrur district on Saturday. The children between the age of four and six, were returning home from school when the incident took place.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Officials said, around 12 students were in the van at the time of mishap. Eight children were taken out safely by people working in nearby fields and have been admitted to nearby hospital. Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has ordered a magisterial enquiry into the incident and said guilty will not be spared.<br />''</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Talking to media, after visiting the spot, Sangrur Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori, said, the police has registered a case under Section 304 of IPC (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) against the school principal, its management and the owner and driver of the van.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said that as per the report of District Transport Officer and preliminary inquiry indicates that the van was in condemned condition and was being run illegally.
