Punjab Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal today made a slew of public&nbsp; announcements including increase in various pensions in social sector, while presenting the budget estimates for financial year 2020-2021in the house of Punjab Assembly. This is the last budget of this government.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Finance Minister announced to increase the social security pension given to elderlies, widows, orphans and people with disability from 750 to 1500 rupees from 1st July this year and also proposed to increase the monthly pension of freedoms fighters from 7500 to 9400 rupees with effect from 1st of March this year.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Finance Minister also announced enhancement in the assistance under Aashirwad Scheme from 21000 to 51000 rupees from 1st of July.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">He also announced implementation of recommendations of &nbsp;6th pay Commission from 1st July of this year. Mr Manpreet Badal also announced to construct a museum of Baba Saheb Ambedkar at a cost of 100 crore rupees in Kapurthala.</span><br />
