Punjab council of Ministers has been reshuffled following the removal of former Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal. Disclosing this at Chandigarh on Wednesday a spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said that Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal will now hold the portfolio of Information & Public Relations Department in addition to Home Affairs. Upinderjit Kaur becomes the new Finance Minister, who will also hold the charge of Planning and Programme Implementation. Sewa Singh Sekhwan gets the Education department and the charge of NRIs Affairs, Defence Services Welfare. Removal of Grievances and Pension and Welfare of Pensioners held by Mr. Sekhwan and Civil Aviation held by Dr. (Mrs.) Upinderjit Kaur would be looked after by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
