Punjab CM to launch mobile hospital service

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal directed the Health Department to immediately launch mobile hospital service for the people of the border and semi hill areas to provide basic health care and medical facilities to them at their doorsteps. <br/><br/>Addressing a gathering after flagging off 39 ambulances at Mohali on Monday he said that majority of people in these areas are deprived of medical services in these difficult and far flung areas. <br/><br/>These mobile hospitals would be equipped with adequate medical and paramedical staff, diagnostic equipment and medicines. The Chief Minister further said that a project worth 346 crore rupees has been prepared for the up gradation of health infrastructure in the state.
